We all love having dinner parties, but brunch parties are just as fun (if not better!) A simple dish to serve is yogurt, and it’s so easy to please everyone! Fill your kitchen island with toppings, sauces, fruits, and let your friends get to work making their own yogurt parfait!
For the yogurt, buy a large container and scoop into small bowls. It is cheaper than buying a small container, and you won’t have to worry about throwing away all those little foil lids. Try to avoid any runny yogurt - greek or Siggi’s yogurt works well. You want the toppings to lay nicely on top, not sink in and get mushy.
Try to stay healthy with the toppings. Check out your granola brands before buying – just look at the labels and it’s easy to see that some contain high levels of sugar and fat. There are several organic, healthy options that contain high protein and are naturally sweetened. Also try unsalted nuts and a variety of fruit.
This is my favorite part! Have several small bowls out, full of peanut butter, almond butter, jelly, cinnamon, and honey. These are so fun to drizzle on your finished bowl and make it pretty (and tasty!).
Give everyone a bowl of yogurt and allow them to fill their bowl full of toppings and fruit! It’s easy to please everyone with this brunch.
Our favorite combinations:
Banana slices and a big serving of granola.
Apple slices, peanut butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Peach slices, almonds, and a drizzle of honey.
Mixed fruit with raspberry jam.
Granola and a big scoop of chocolate peanut butter.
