These cauliflower bites are delicious! The perfect lunch or appetizer for your vegetarian and vegan friends. You can use regular milk and butter, or follow our recipe to make them vegan. Healthy and delicious!
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup buffalo style hot sauce
1/4 cup butter, melted (the EarthBalance brand is vegan!)
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup flour (we used spelt flour)
1 cup unsweetened, unflavored almond milk
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Make batter. Whisk together milk, flour, garlic salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until batter is smooth. (If the batter is too thick, add 2-3 tbsp more of milk.)
3. Dredge cauliflower in batter until evenly coated. Shake off excess flour and transfer cauliflower to the lined baking sheets. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
4. While the cauliflower bakes make the hot sauce. In another bowl, combine melted butter and hot sauce until evenly combined. Toss the cauliflower in sauce before serving. Serve with ranch, blue cheese, or celery sticks. Enjoy!
