Wow! We cannot believe the turnout for Sunday's event. Oakmoss Collective hosted our first Small Business Owners Dinner and it turned out to be a success!
It was so wonderful to be able to meet other creatives, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. We also had the chance to hear from a few of the dinner's sponsors and what they do with their businesses for the community!
We started the afternoon off with a time of networking and connecting. Mark ran the coffee bar, where he brewed coffee from Elementary Coffee Co. and we took a little time to get to know one another, exchange business cards, and take some pictures at the photo booth!
The backdrop of our photo booth was made by Amber of Ropes and Roses and was absolutely gorgeous and the props were made by Alisa Wismer Design + Illustration (interviews coming soon)!
The dinner sponsors that we heard from were Blush + Brushes Art Studio, Humankind Water, The Vintage Dames, and Ropes + Roses. We are so excited to share their interviews in the next few days, as well as the sponsors unable to make it to the event.
Be sure to stop by the Journal again to learn all about these local small businesses! We can't wait until our next dinner where we can gather together and celebrate small business and community.
Special thanks to Jordan Harper Photography + Karlie Picket for the images, Historic Acres of Hershey for the venue, Flowers by Jess for the centerpieces, Mark Gettis + Elementary Coffee Co. for the coffee bar, Marlene Goldsborough for the help with food prep/serving, Raising the Bar + Mr. Farmer's Daughter for desserts, 215 Prints for the menus, Blush + Brush Studio for the goodie bags, Grafted Oaks + Deeply Rooted Magazine for giveaway items, and The Vintage Dames for beautiful antique furniture.
