I cannot believe that it has been an entire year already since the website for Oakmoss Collective went live! My oh my how time flies. People fall in love, get married, graduate, have kids, start a new career, create something new, move to a new town, buy a new car, dye their hair... the list of things that can happen in a year goes on. This past year, Oakmoss Collective has been growing and finding its voice.
What started out as a project for a college course, soon turned into a passion and a dream to get creatives gathered together to collaborate on projects, share their ideas, and celebrate simplicity.
Oakmoss Collective still has a lot of growing to do; I've got a lot of plans and dreams that need to be narrowed down. I'd love to see more events and workshops and hosted events. I think that eventually opening a shop for Oakmoss would be really exciting! We definitely need more posts in the journal and reader submissions. The list of ideas and growth and finding it's voice goes on. But one whole year of experimenting and meeting new people and dipping my toe in the world of workshops has been quite a ride!
Thank you for your readership and support. Here's to another year; and another & another!
Also, a special thanks to all of Oakmoss Collective's core team members (past + present) for taking my little idea and helping it blossom.
Happy Birthday, Oakmoss!
